Everything is expertly created in-house by our highly skilled chefs, from our Signature Scotch Egg to Beef Wellington with Red Wine Sauce. Our premium cut succulent steaks are served perfectly to your liking, and with so many sumptuous sides to choose from, you’ll be spoilt for choice! Try our 35 day dry-aged 1kg Prime Rib Steak with Truffle Fries, Fried Duck Egg, Creamy Mushrooms or Garlic Prawns. For the ultimate taste sensation, our British Wagyu Steak is a must! Kobe beef is considered the most tender, succulent and flavourful meat in the world. Seas the day! Fresh fish and seafood are staple to our menu. Start your visit with Pyefleet Pure Colchester Oysters, before indulging in a Whole Lobster Frites baked with thermidor sauce or grilled with garlic butter. Or enjoy classic crispy Tempura Haddock with Triple Cooked Chips, Pea Puree & home-made Tartar Sauce for the finest fish & chips lunch or supper. £5 LUNCH We offer a fantastic value Lunch Menu from just £5, including Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad, Eggs Benedict, Fillet of Fish Sandwich and many more. Served Monday to Saturday from 12pm. AFTERNOON TEA Enjoy a delightful, tiered selection of sweet treats and finger sandwiches, all freshly made by our Chef Pâtissier, served with fresh leaf tea or French pressed coffee cafetière. Monday to Saturday 12:30pm – 4:30pm, £16.95 SUNDAY Premium roast meats, including Sirloin of Beef, Leg of Lamb, or Butter Roast Chicken, served with crispy rosemary & garlic potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, all the trimmings and lashings of gravy.
